Please Be My Val
I have waited for eternity just to hear you say,
'Yes, I will be yours',
and we will together travel the path,
that is paved with lovely red roses.
Now, I can see in your eyes,
that glittering power of passion,
that roused my shriveled hope,
as I make this request,
will you please be my Val,
even if it is just for a day?
