Plea For Excellent Service

Lord, make me effectively excellent* Let Your might in my life be truly prevalent Conquer my flesh, arrogantly pestilent Bestow me Your blessings, graciously opulent. Humbled, I yield to You, prayerfully silent With steadfast faith, I look to You, never ambivalent Vanquish my slothfulness as I confess being indolent… Now, I offer to You my servant heart, joyously redolent.
*Philippians 1:10 That ye may approve things that are excellent; that ye may be sincere and without offence till the day of Christ. April 3, 2019
