Playtime Done Lullaby

Sung to the tune of Aura Lee or Love Me Tender

First verse:

Precious baby go to sleep
Now that day is done.
Close your eyes and not a peep.
Precious little one.

Chorus:

You are lovely, you are sweet
All day long you play.
Now it's evening twilight time
"Til another day.

Second verse:

On the swing you played today.
Merry little one.
Laughing, loving, gentle play
Now the day is done.

Sing chorus again.

Yesterday I got really into that Footle poetry and did like 30 of them only to come here today and realize it had to be about SPRING. GRRRR. Luckily the lazy daisy came to me, but not so great!
