Racing spree
in his world so free
basking with glee
he zooms merrily
yet courageously
with his wheel chair; counting one, two, three.
There he swirls fearlessly
in pure mirth jubilantly
“Catch me ... ” says he
unmindful of Mom’s plea
“oh, I’m tired, you see…
sure, you won, my sweetie!”
Midst playground moments joyously
my special son bonds with me wondrously
blessing* from the Lord I cherish graciously.
*Proverbs 10:22 The blessing of the LORD, it maketh rich, and he addeth no sorrow with it.
