She is feline, so slinky, eyes bold, deep green and gold, padded paws with claws at the ready make no noise ready to pounce, her victim, no challenge as those mysterious eyes hypnotize. Good luck in the contest. Love this Haiku Sam, Hugs, blessings, Jennifer.

Thank you so much dear friend! When we were first married we had a black kitty named Scooter who presented us with three kittens among them another black kitty. These wonderful kitties gave us hours of enjoyment as they pounced, skittered and played! They were the inspiration for this poem. Your lovely notes always raise my spirits and give joy to my heart!
