PLAINLY SPEAKING
the verdict is in
cigarettes do cause cancer
it’s been known for years
the verdict is in
those who smoke can become hooked
it’s been known for years
right on the package –
“Cigarettes may cause cancer” –
or to that effect
outrageous taxes!
smoking is too expensive
it’s outrageous!
but they go right on,
these hooked victims of smoking,
ignoring the facts
a desperate need –
smoking, like the need for gasoline –
and prices will soar!
come on, let’s face it!
the big money is riding on
our human weakness
and the end result?
very rich or very poor,
the new age classes
