God’s Word is a mirror, strong proof, a basic, factual tool which can typify mankind. Archaic illustration from this book… abduction, untruths, conniving and killing. Individual, loyal to God for a long span abruptly drops control, turning corrupt. King David was that man with a mind for God How did such disloyalty occur? First a craving for that which was not his own having way too much; lust commands sway. Adultery runs to duplicity Fornication functions as assassination’s aid. Words unmask a king’s guilt, Nathan’s symbolism. Most important, words also log the king's sorrow - “My sin is against you, my Lord.” David is pining for pardon; his ransom awaits.
