I simplify it in my mind..i can pretend its not real,
I can shut off my emotions..i can seperate to heal,
I can love you with sincerity and walk away,
I will protect your heart..and you'll never know that i did,
I can see the bigger picture..the pieces align,
I keep it tucked away..its not my place to define,
And as it unfolds...i quietly see,
That your heart is ultimately more important to me.
