Place In a Moment

Smoldering Autumn wraps her golden arms around this place, admires her reflection in the still duck pond, and sends a chilling wind beneath a sky so blue, it hurts the eyes to look at it. Autumn dresses house and shed and barn in red and yellow ruffles, and those who live within light the hearth, sending plumes of fragrant wood smoke to meet the peppered scent of Summer's dying breath.

A very apt description of the season. Nicely done, Katherine.
