Pixels and Dust
From thrones observe the show with ‘gods-view’ eyes
The theatre dark and dusty was arcane
Then thirty frames each second flash and die
While countless pixels morph from frame to frame
A cinematic masterpiece is played
The colours, oh! The sound, the story unfolds!
The guy has saved the girl he once betrayed!
But somewhere there’s a story still untold
A story so much shorter, that it’s just
Just a tale of those lonely pixels and dust
A breath to push the dusty air away
A breath to hold at hero’s darkest scene
When pause is pressed amidst climactic fray
To follow a beam of dust-light to the screen
For a tranquil lofty second there I viewed
As a speck of dust had nestled on the wall
On the corner of a pixel rather crude
Was a fleeting, lucky master of the small
As every second past another came
Then drifted from the show without a name
The show resumes with a spinning rock in space
Illuminated by a beam of golden light
Where star-dust sprinkles freely as a lace
Then a carbon laden master soon ignites
And the blood flows out from star-dust of the north
With a hero’s praise for fragments on the rock
Fast-forward the show and more of the same came forth
See the star-dust come and gnash and leave ad hoc
Watch masters, lovers, loners live and die
As it zooms out to a pixel while the dust goes fleeting by
