Pity the Poor Women

Pity the poor women of Afghanistan
In the hands of the ruthless Taliban
Repressed and put down
In a shapeless black gown
At the disposal of any overbearing man.

It is sadly horrible; difficult to fathom.

Yes, it is. I feel so sorry for the women and children, particularly. Many will die for not reason whatsoever except the ruthless behavior of the Taliban. There is nothing we can do to help, unfortunately. It will just have to play itself out.

that is REALLY good , Milt and I DO pity this woman. I am so grateful to not have been born into such circumstance. Well done!

Thanks, Andrea. It's a very sad situation, but I don't know what else we could have done after twenty years! I'm amazed at how quickly the Afghani soldiers tossed in the towel...apparently just giving up. Very sad!
