Pity For Polar Bears

The polar bears’ piece of land

on which they sit or stand

is melting into smaller chunks of ice.

That’s just not very nice!

OMG, we had the same idea, Andrea. I just hadn't written mine yet, but was collecting data on these bears. By 2050, all might be gone. A very cute entry for Maureen's contest. Sending winning wishes your way, Carolyn

How cute! (I think I'm the only one more concerned with litter which I find sinful more than with Global warming because the first we can stop, the second we can't, plus the first has accelerated as of late and the 2nd has gone on since the Earth was 1 day old; it has never stopped changing. Seen a dinosaur lately? Thank God, no.) Loved this though I am irrationally afraid of Polar Bears and shivered at the pic! Love you ... CayCay

Very true Andrea - but I understand that they are getting accustomed to human habitat. A very enjoyable read! Poetry hugs, Jennifer.

No it's not. I love polar bears; they are beautiful. The damage we humans do is inexcusable; once we know it harms; why keep doing it? Good luck in the contest.

You make an important point here. The current administration is very weak on environmental issues. The poor polar bears! Peace & Love Matthew Anish
