Pitch Black

Pitch black
An overcast of darkness
It’s a misery
Its all I see

Do u see what I see?
The little girl crooked her head to
 look around the room
Is it the sky?
Why its nothing like
That my child
Come
See the world from my eyes
The old woman raises her hand to touch
The girls face
Why are you so cold
My child
I see the sun
