Pints of Guinness

Pints Of Guiness By Laura D 2.18.2017 Fragile as we really are We'll never make it very far Twisted as my heart can be It never falls for fallacy If I could only stay awake I'd stay this way without a way Decay among the frayed outlines I swear to god i'd be just fine Put your tired hand in mine Grab my hips and blur the lines Pin me down and save my broken mind More than a bag of sunshine could ever hope to find So get me higher than the clouds above Free me of humanity and see what's left to love To live by the fire, i'll die by the flames Casting shadows taller than my given name Give me a day, or even a year Send me through haze until i'm crystal clear Remembering all the honest words never told Frozen tears for Laura in the calm, atlantic cold tonight...
