Pink Champagne and Satin Opera Gloves

As wild as unbridled seas,
soft as mist, a spindrift tease.
Night stars swoon and fall from skies;
constellations fill her eyes.
Every leaf stirs in her wake,
bottom to top, mountains quake.
Beaux like grapes bunch on her vine,
blood in veins she turns to wine.
Kisses sipped, her cherry lips.
Saké nip, rock ‘n roll hips;
tongue-and-groove celebration,
sensual saturation.
Her riptide lures sand from shore,
tsunami, when she wants more.

Masterful rhyming as we breeze through this metaphorical mindscape. So well done. But could we expect less? Nay, nay dear bards. This is a special poet.

Congratulations, Susan! What a fantastic write about a woman, who can be wild and at the next moment soft, which is easily done in dancing in the same song for rhythm and tempo change. Or the sensuality of a woman, tamed, but confident or lures with fire in her eyes and body. Happy New Year!

So many great lines: "Beaux like grapes bunch on her vine" "Saké nip, rock ‘n roll hips" She is a powerful female entity, this one. A literal force of nature. Thank you for the introduction to Anacreontic Couplets.
