I shared a crispy pinecone with you on a walk today
The crunch under your shoe pierced the autumn air
The disappearance of work replaced by laughter and play
An effortless stroll down the street as a loving pair
Let go, forget, and indulge in foolishness…embrace your kid at heart
Laugh and have fun without reason
Make fond memories you can reflect upon
Cherish time with those you love while enjoying the season
Search for the crunchiest pinecone to step on
