Piercing Words

Piercing Words

Words are thrown like a game of
Arrows.

Presumptions, Razor-sharp slandering
And hurtful to one's core.

Oneself  believed words eventhough
When one's actions proved wrong;
Shooting from ambush at the blameless.

Piercing Words are quaint, and how
Words can enter one's thoughts and
Never leave.

Laying snares secretly,  thinking
"Who can see us?" We're smoother
than Butter.

Piercing Words are spears and arrows, their tongues are sharper than daggers.
