Pieces of My Heart
Today I gave you a piece of my heart;
Soon you will have them all.
For slowly my heart is becoming yours.
Please don’t let them fall.
Every time you kiss my lips,
Or hold me in you arms
I give you another piece of my heart.
Please keep them from all harms.
You ask, “Why not give them all at once?”
This action I do not dare.
For fragile is this puzzle of mine.
Please handle them with care.
