Piece By Piece
I guess that I could have called this writing,
‘Puzzle Parts', ‘Puzzle Pieces’, ‘Part of The Puzzle’,
or even ‘Finding your Fit’. However, I think that
I will stick with ‘Piece by Piece'.
Last Sunday morning as a woman began to pray,
she prayed to God about the general favor and
positive well-being of a member of our fellowship.
As she prayed, I began to see the picture of a ‘puzzle’.
That puzzle represented what God has given to each
local church. That puzzle is a portrait of what and
how God sees our church fulfilling its mission.
Each piece represents a church member.
How those pieces are to be fitted into the
puzzle is a most delicate and God-inspiring task.
The puzzle is a vast part of the vision I have seen
you demonstrate for more than 20 years. I have seen
You exercise patience and prudence. I have also been
privileged to observe your persistence and tolerance.
I have witnessed your unique ability to step out
onto a limb outside of your comfort zone.
May you continue charging forward.
That puzzle I saw is very telling and revealing.
Make no mistake about it; the puzzle reveals
how God is orchestrating and fitting each one
into our God-assigned place, “Piece by Piece”.
