Pie Toss

While I'm the greatest (I and I alone),
I think of the ignominy I've known,
and ask, "can time erase
the mess upon my face
before another well-aimed pie is thrown?"

LOL. Reminds me of Tony Curtis and The Great Race. It seems pie fights aren't that much fun. Nicely writ Dave. elle :)

Thanks, elle. I just recently was watching a documentary about the silent era of Hollywood, and they had a bunch of clips on pie throwing. I thought the funniest one was when a pie came through the telephone.
