Picture Perfect

Up on a mountain Alone stands a tree “Picture perfect” For all to see A perfect blend of colors Created in the fall With the descending leaves Adding beauty to it all The winter brings with it A look that’s all its own It’s like peering at a snow globe When the wind is blowing The view in the springtime Is like a breath of fresh air Life as it blossoms is A sight which is fair Summer makes sounds so soothing By winds which compel the tree to dance Inhaling its aroma You’re enslaved into a trance So, as the seasons continue to change This perfect picture you can see If you look up on the mountain Where there stands alone a tree
