Phoenix
like a phoenix rising from the ashes of addiction
straight outta perdition...hellfire and heat...once frying in the friction
doom dramas and terrible traditions...pornographic pictures burned by scriptures
a new adventure on a lost highway
full speed ahead...i fly away from this prison of pain in the dwelling of the dead
high above black clouds and chaos clowns...civilization full of confusion...going down
fortune and fame turns to sorrow and shame
who's to blame?
wild wolves now tamed and maimed and driven insane
i've got riches,strength,and wisdom in the power of Gods name
yeah,that's what i claim!
once deranged and defamed...at the altar of abominations...like a seductive witch burned at
the stake
no fear or frustration...on wings of fire i reach that heavenly nation
i can't change the station as angels sing eternal elation
fast lane turns to fury...i'm droppin lyrical bombs on the judges and the juries
fuel turns into faith as i fly higher and higher
like ikarus headed for the heart of the sun
i keep rising like a phoenix until i reach the throne of God
