This is an excellent senryu to honor our state's flag my very dear friend, Aiyah. I love it soo much. You did it Very well. I'm so delighted to read it tonight. I wrote a poem as well to honor our flag. At first, I was thinking of Haiku or senryu, but then I found it quite hard so, I came up with an idea of using just 3- lines verse. I don't know if it's ok. Aiyah, this is nice. A suggestion for the last line is to say "proudly" Also that will give you five syllables. And if you said three stars and A sun, you will have five syllables on the top as well!! Good luck in the contest.
