Phantom Signals

We pretend in life there is certainty,

That our senses are not deceived.

We trust our reason to guide us

To show us what we should believe.

Yet in the foggy mist of this reality

We believe there is something more.

Because sometimes something happens

A transcendent experience does occur.

It shakes our view of reality

And all that we believe is true

It is a message of special importance

When a phantom signal does break through
