Phantom
Lifeless demon screaming inside,
forgive me for everything.
Erase the footsteps.
Erase the lies.
Waking up within a dream,
why is it so hard to escape all that I believe?
Spirits call out to me.
Despair is my only key.
Farther and farther,
I venture into the depths of this endless pit,
the blood of the pure is shed upon the heart of it.
I can't breathe for the first time,
though I'm forced to inhale
as the twisted chains keep me bound here.
Trials hold me guilty in the crime of my doing.
The darkness is my only friend.
I was never an innocent.
Shards of glass the echoes of my past.
Broken and alone,
can I fight away the fear?
Forever in the night,
the strength to battle,
the courage to fight.
Phantom of hatred, forgive my soul.
I'm losing my mind. I'm losing control.
Phantom kindling,
Phantom ghost,
my only life, my only hope.
Swimming through the cold black sea,
I suddenly realize that you were always with me.
My Phantom of despair.
I need you to guide me back,
I need to know you're here.
Ravens call and visions cease.
Walking blind through the forest of misery,
I finally discover the joy of victory.
Phantom of the storm,
forever you were within me,
forever shedding the light.
Phantom, you are the spirit's only will.
Phantom, Aleir,
I will forever obey you,
I always will.
