PETUNIA

P-Pertty pink or purple flowers,
E-Enrich the patio they hang from.
T-Teanquilize the space they occupy.
U-Unadulterated by outside chaos.
N-Nesting their glory inside each basket.
I-Illuminating space with effortless beauty.
A-Acclaiming praises to the God of life.

Cute one. Was it a challenge? What is teanquilize?

Teanquilize? Is a spelling mistake that I will be fixing soon. This was not a contest. I was on vacation with one of my friends a school teacher to be exact and I asked her for a writing idea. She gave me Petunia as the topic. I saw in an instant an acrotic. It should be tranquilized.

Petunias are so colorful. They adorn the patios of houses. In hanging baskets, 'nesting their glory', they feast every eye. Beautiful acrostic, dear Miranda.

Lovely acrostic, Miranda! Each line paints such a peaceful image—especially love “nesting their glory” and “acclaiming praises.” You’ve captured the quiet grace of petunias so well. Feels like a little garden prayer!

I don't have a petunia plant hanging basket or otherwise. I did get a Google image of a petunia to write this poem.

Thank you for that. I had asked my friend for a prompt and when she gave me that one, I knew in an instant that it had to be an acrostic.
