Pete's Enigma

Pete's spouse accused him of having no class.

   Socially, folks avoided him en masse.

      He had a most dreadful flaw,

         That made some people guffaw.

            He could not control the passing of gas!

Keith Bickerstaffe December 5, 2015 at 1:54 PM A superbly constructed LIMERICK in 10/10/7/7/10 format, perfectly acceptable. and what a hoot! (pardon the pun!) I find that keeping the required meter is hard for me, so I don't try many of 'em. I'd rather be entertained by other peoples' efforts! BRAVO my friend!! Best wishes, Keith 7
