Peter put up potted plants on paths and patted himself Pasted posters on pitted parts where people paid to pee Praised and panned , through pleas and plans, pots and pans he banned Pipped at the post in poles and piqued, he put it all on press.

I don't think I ever told you about how hard judging this contest was!...This WAS one of the entries that flowed the most...the only reason it didn't score higher was a clear story line. If you ever get the notion, rework this one for fun! Dang, you should see my notebook of alliterations that me and hubby wrote last winter...they are insanely funny! Brainstorm words together to come up with a strong master list...then have fun coming up with with a storyline...sending sunshine your way, Jag. Loved the explan. on your poem!

What a great write, keeps my mind in a spin to put the p's in place! Now I know what alliteration is, have no idea what poetry forms are. Just write what comes in the head.

I kept revisiting the 3rd line of this tongue twister as it is as smoooooth as butter! P's are always the best letters in my opinion..Thank you for writing for my contest, Jag. You are an excellent poet! Sincerely, Gwendolen
