Petals From a Balcony

A cloud of scarlet and crimson petals Spill down from above, Pirouetting delicately As they clasp the breeze In a silent, fluttering waltz. Drips of colour stain sherbet white snow, Blossoming chaotically As the legion of scandal - red petals Pour relentlessly down. Flowers for the living.
