Pet Rock

Pet Rock.
.
I was looking through some images of strange inventions
And one such innovation drew my attention
It came as a wonderful surprise 
And a bit of a shock
That what I had been missing in my life
Was to love and care for
A USB pet rock
.
What a great idea I thought
Straight to eBay and I bought
Not one but two
One for me
And one for you
.
Cheap to keep and cheap to feed
You don’t have to walk it like a dog
Even though it has a lead
You can take it on holiday
Take it to the zoo
Your little friend comes to
.
It doesn’t talk back
It makes a great pet
If your lonely
And it doesn't get wet
.
I think I’ll call mine Pebbles
I’m not sure why?
It doesn't get ill
And it doesn't die
I made all this up
The invention is true
But I told a lie.
.
