So what my geometry’s disproportioned
and I call myself a volunteer writer?
A felon? Yep. But that’s image distortion -
a classic lover, occasional biter,
sensitive-mid-age-crisis-approaching
double-divorcee-triple-duty-deadbeat-
dad does me better. Plus, in terms of coaching,
none need be proffered this sure-bet to cheat
with an always available stable
of nay-saying alibis on burner phones
calling to say: You’ll be comfortable
thinking my ears hear no other mares moan,
so long as you’re blonde, petite, no older than
twenty and run from me fast as you can.

Oh I'd love to see the responses you got to that one Phillip. Especially love the triple duty heartbeat line what a poetic way to say you're a dad x 3 :-) hugs Jan xx
