Persistent Prayer
This parable brings out important lessons
that when we begin praying it mustn't end
not until God mercifully does answer
then give thanks for all He did send
The judge in the parable didn't fear God
not even regarded man but he felt
for this widow for she never gave up
proving the human heart can indeed melt
This judge spoke within himself
if I should reject this widows plea
she'll keep on at me with no end
so I'll give her wish so can flee
The Lord cries out to make sure to hear
what the judge so unjust did actually say
for God loves His elect this He'll show
He hears their every cry night and day
Now despite all, that's been learned
when Jesus returns what will He find?
will faith be evident on His creation?
or is mankind acting as if blind!?
