Persia Reborn

A holiday is coming our way
when Jew-haters almost carried the day

The demagogic Persia of 2,500 years ago
reborn today as Iran we know

     Eerie remembrance of horrors past
        for failure to terror smash

Would that the heroes of the Purim of old
inspire us moderns to be as bold

Esther and Mordechai, rise up again
        another Holocaust to prevent

Powerful truths my friend you have shared. We will have to keep an eye on them...

An abomination!~ what is going on on college canvases. No taxpayer support for any of them. And make them pay back the delinquent student loans! Oh, excellent poetry my friend!

Amen to this Gershon. I never thought I would see the day that antisemitism would rear its ugly head in the US. Glad Trump is taking steps to try to quash it but our university system was taken over long ago by radicals and now we are seeing the results.

Yep. I saw it coming during my undergrad years (1968-72).
