I've done some soul searching Yet I can't seem to find The answers perplexing To these questions of mine Like where does the innocence From our childhood go Can a mind remain youthful As a body grows old How can a tear Be either happy or sad Is the meaning of life Found as a mom or a dad Should you give of your heart Since it can be broke Can faith remain strong As you lose all your hope Should love remain blind Or should its sharing eyes see Does time erase heartache Or just memories These answers elude me But one thing I know With questions lie answers With yes remains no
