Perpharps

PERHARPS
Perhaps I was wrong
When I thought all men are the same
That all they could do was to hit and run
That they were created with hard hearts
Hearts that could hurt and still be untouched

Perhaps I was scared
To start all over again just like that
When my past hard John, Auther and Mark
When all they did was to read me like a book
Use me like paper to be dumped eventually

Perhaps I saw it
That light in your eyes when you see me
That love in your heart that softens you
That spark when your hands touch me

And perhaps you are different
From John, Auther and Mark
You have a loving soul and a soft heart
Yet all now I wish is perhaps my place is not taken
Take for I realize I want you my love
