Permanent Resident

Permanent resident I think of ways To tell her how I feel It’s been some days Still got nothing real Can’t find the words It’s all in my heart Try to say it loud But my lips don’t part How do I tell her? How I love her so What do I say it to her? So she would know She lives in my heart A permanent resident And she in my world She is a president She is the wind The blows thru my hair She is the air I breathe That has me standing here Oh Sorry I got So carried away Let’s get back to The subject of today That is how do I say? How much I love you Keep trying to find the words But so hard to do She’s like the sun Shines where ever she are She’s like the stars That light on me from so far She’s like the rain That cools me when it’s hot She’s like a knickerbockers glory The hits the right spot She lives in my heart A permanent resident She gives me hope With her distinctive accent Oh Sorry I forget again And got carried away Let’s get back to The subject of today How do I say I love her?
