Perfect Timing
moonlight mangata
entices a young couple
enthralled, they gaze to the north
admiring what the evening has presented
the waters are calm
the top shimmers like rhinestones
a pathway to lifelong happily ever after promises
she is in love; wanting the prince.
He knows she is ready for the next step
Had planned to propose when the time was right.
What time would be more memorable than this one?
The air is totally silent; joyful stars look down, blessing them.
He gets down on a knee.
