Perfect Story Wrapped In Blue
(2011)
Story of me and you
A perfect story wrapped in blue
We were tangled by coincidence
I loved you for many reasons
Lived life together in ours, called home
Our perfect love was always a bloom
Until storm attacked and dropped a gloom
After a year of gratefulness,
As a wife showered by kindness,
You were taken away
I was on life’s way of grey
My life had spread me treason
I recalled your presence with no reason
Your reminiscence I couldn’t resist
Of your fragrance mixed with sweat
And your touch in tenderness? -prettiest threat
And your sheer smile after a kiss? –a bliss
Half of me had gone
How would I move on?
Beautiful dreams with you in it,
After awakened, I cry with no tears in wilt
Then more of me gone, I care no more
Wound in my core? –more severe
Every memory slits through my vein
Push my blood do the bleeding
My life’s breathing in vain
‘Till I meet you again, I’ll be mourning
The agony as a witness
I have no power to prevent
Thousands of happiness
Blackened by one accident
Sits on 2nd place on BLUE contest by SKAT :)
