Perfect
I've been the loser and the winner
I've been the sinner and the saint
I've been hurt with my heart broken
And been the one to cause someone pain
I've been up and I've been down
I've been judged and been called names
I've been critical of others
And been the one who's made false claims
I've been a friend and been an enemy
I've been shallow and I've been vain
I've been happy with what I've got
And been unhappy with just the same
The only thing I've never been
Is perfect in every way
But I've been enough to know
That I'm good enough for today
