Peremptory

Sewn lips That’s my best stitch You don’t seem to have any limits Must be nice to have no off switch How do I keep ending up Silencing my roar Can’t seem to stop myself From always shutting my windows and doors Somehow I’m stronger on my own My spirit got brittle My fire was stifled When I opened my soul to yours Catch my eyes Mostly penetrating the floor Lost my confidence And more The insecurity demons They eat me Feast on my uncertainty Questioning everything I do Swallow vials of razors Sit on my hands Better off motionless Easier to please the appraiser
