Perceptions Rule
Perceptions rule...they rule my mind
Just as well calibrated timepiece gears
Precisely manage
Internal clockwork times.
If what I am
Is what I see...
And if what I see
Is what I am...
And if what I think
Is what I see...
And if what I see
Is what I think...
Then is everything that I ever perceive...
Really inside me...
Just a part of me???
And so why is it then...
that when I really try to understand
to figure out who I am...
Why is it so hard
to figure out what I think
and what do I think
about that which I see
and what are the really
critical things
that are the important parts of me...
I can see my two hands freely move....
I can feel the moments ticking by...
and the movements that I see...
move the years past by and by.
I can see that my perceptions
clearly are all self contained...
Contained within the clockwork
the clockwork that is me.
And just like a timepiece
whose face reveals the time...
I am the basis of my perception...
and the perceptions are all mine.
