Oh I do love Peonies. I have pink, fuchsia and red ones. Next I think I'll plant some white ones. They are so lovely and return every year. God Bless, JB

Alexis, So far so good. I have my ups and downs. The coughing seemed to go back to worse again yesterday but I had a fairly good night. Thanks for your visit. Sara

Victor, Your question made me look it up. Peonies need cold of 40 or lower so many nights a year. I did not know that. They need the cold to bloom. Sara

Victor, So far it has been fine here staying in the ground and coming back but we have not had any weather below around 19 or 20 degrees F. Sometimes plants will weather fairly well down to around 32, 30 but not below that and it kills the root ball. Sara

I love the peonies, Sara. Come Memorial Day, the cemetery will be full of them because they are in glorious full bloom around Decoration Day in West Virginia. Good job!
