Peeking Through the Shadows

Take note
I will never agree to disagree
Or neither will I take a point of view to please
Some issues are prone to bias, to some level of degree
Levels of understanding differ according to one’s acceptance of the issue
Difficulty in understanding is the rejection of its acceptance

Contraceptives at schools should be allowed
But does that mean our aims for an HIV free generation will be achieved?
We lack a better way of reform!
But is there any other way through the storm?
Your thoughts are just as good as mine
We shall never know unless we try

Have we given heed to the deadly disease?
Or have we succumbed to the fulfillment of fantasies for our children?
Is this a green light to intimacy at a young age?
My thoughts secluded at this stage
I fear discrimination in exchange for my answers
Parents and guardians will be left in much rage

They are dying day and night
They lack knowledge and search for pleasure in their plight
Labeled “child prostitutes”
I call them the misled and uninformed

You refuse to acknowledge the fact that you know
Clubs in bold NO UNDER 18
Alcohol in bold NOT TO BE SOLD TO PERSONS UNDER 18
And yet you let them indulge during the night time
I have eyes and ears in all places during the night
I am not pointing fingers
Shame and guilt is written in all your faces during daylight
Controversial issues…
I separate the wrong from the right
