Matthew 13:46 (KJV) “Who, when he had found one pearl of great price, went and sold all that he had, and bought it.”
Poured out, over the sea
Soundless thoughts, breath of peace,
Sincerest song, flowing in waves,
Feelings of light, soft and soothing,
Poured out, over the sea…
Rising to the surface,
In hues of grace, deserving
Pearlescent gentling, like seeds
In whispers of glorious feelings,
Bleeding into the silence, stillness…
Pearls, perfect little emblems
Remembering those who believe,
Souls who grieve because He bled,
Souls who see – He is the reason,
Each pearl has its grace, its season…
Poured out, over the sea,
Beneath the surface, trembling
Cradled by sands, the bed,
Believing, I can see… beneath
The surface of the sea, where pearls rest…
All those pearls, waiting for me,
Blessings more pure than I can dream,
Blessings more beautiful than I can guess.
Blessings, more amazing than I can expect.
Blessings, who tremble – never regretting…
The wonder of a pearl who shares God’s grace,
His favor, His mercy, His unending display…
Of love that is everlasting and so amazing,
Love, His blessing to all who draw close to…
This pearl, His presence, the grace that surely blesses!
