Peace Washes Over

Peace like a river, 

                                     washes over my soul

                                     My gaze is to heaven

                                    For Christ paid my toll

                                     The valley was deep

                                    He bridged the divide

                                  Dries tears that I weep

                                    Drew me to His side

                                  Oh Father, Your mercies

                                   Are pure and so sweet

                                  For You take our broken,

                                   To make us complete
