Peace of Mind

Where do you find,
Peace of mind

Is it a physical place you go,
Hidden from everyone you know

Or a place you visit in your head,
Maybe a quiet space instead

To collect your thoughts,
Or strategize the battles to be fought

Is it to calm your nerves,
Or remind yourself what you deserve

Do you need a walk in fresh air,
To ease the frustrations that are there

Are you motivated to take a step back,
And consider where you are at

Asking if you expect too big much,
Then realizing you were out of touch

How then do you re center,
In a satisfying manner

An affirmation that all will come to be,
A path now cleared that you can see

Disappointments discarded away,
New opportunities come into play

Confidence then,
To believe again
