Peace Is Imperial

Peace is imperial
To everything that is material
For it is the calm of choice
That makes every man of poise

It is the inner silence
In the midst of audible sirens
That stands out as a fountain of sanity
In the distress of humanity

Christ gave us two of these
He gave us our own and left us with His
And if we put Jesus’ peace in our peace
Oh what joy, comfort and ease

Guard your peace properly
That you may view and judge soberly
Show love and compassion with mastery
For we are empowered since Calvary
