Peace Be To God

When Enlightenment killed God and feasted on his grave,
hate grew as strong as love.
And is there more peace on earth now?
Is there more goodwill to men?
Perhaps we just tranquilized him and he's not dead, just sound sleep.
Sound the bells louder and louder, God's alarm needs an instant resurrection.
