Peace

I've always been one to let the loneliness in but not for long a fight each patterned step out of the way these thoughts haphazard weaved in and out of me before momentarily drifting away ~ I'm a moon that's rarely full lost on the other side darkness daring gravity to hold on to me to beg of you to see to stay but ... it's only pushing you further further away if only ... I was your light of day a breath that breeds beauty the reflection of your sun where we would lay our hearts gently among lavender fields fully released of love and life and peace

"When despair for the world grows in me and I wake in the night at the least sound in fear of what my life and my children’s lives may be, I go and lie down where the wood drake rests in his beauty on the water, and the great heron feeds. I come into the peace of wild things who do not tax their lives with forethought of grief. I come into the presence of still water. And I feel above me the day-blind stars waiting with their light. For a time I rest in the grace of the world, and am free." xx

"Peace flows into me As the tide to the pool by the shore; It is mine forevermore, It ebbs not back like the sea …" One of your most beautiful poems Schmidt. On with the day/night.

Beautiful and tranquil, although reads of a melancholy emotion. Enjoyed Tim!
