Notes About The Poem

Form: Swap Quatrain

Listen to poem:

Peace

In my dreams there’s a tomorrow
Where I’ve learned to live with sorrow
I’ve made peace with all the schemes
There’s a tomorrow in my dreams

In my heart few regrets
Haunting past just silhouettes
Bygones forgiven in most part
Few regrets in my heart

In my mind living in the present
Conciliation some might resent
Integrity and kindness are aligned
Living in the present in my mind

In my soul a calm stillness
A zephyr cures the chillness
Moonlit placid enchanted stroll
A calm stillness in my soul

Sublime peaceful paradigm
One blessed thought at a time
Gentle breezes sway a windchime
Peaceful paradigm sublime
